"FUMAR (TAMBÉM) MATA" - WORK IN PROGRESS... ("memória descritiva")

Esta "peça", "instalação", "coisa", (o que quiserem), vai ter imagens chocantes que lhe conferirão um carácter de "Manifesto".
Decidi que essas imagens teriam de ser obscenas, embora nunca consiga imagens tão "pornográficas" como aquelas que o Governo propõe.
Por outro lado, acho que as imagens, sejam elas quais forem, devem contar "histórias" e não impor uma moral bacoca e hipócrita ditada pelos verdadeiros "DDT's"  - a União Europeia.
Por isso e por achar também que, no conjunto, as fotografias devem ser didácticas e devem criar uma narrativa dediquei-me, recentemente, a estudar a etimologia das coisas relacionadas com o "fumar", com o "anti-tabagismo", a marca Marlboro (que fiquei a saber que foi criada para as mulheres, contrariamente à ideia do "Cowboy" (que surgiu muito mais tarde), a pornografia, etc.

Resumindo: a "coisa" que estou a fazer e que vai ser do meu tamanho terá uma a componente didáctica. Como devia ser.
Qualquer pessoa de sofrível inteligência, sabe que "fumar mata".
Qualquer fumador sabe que pode estar a matar-se devagarinho. Daí a expressão "mais um prego para o caixão".

No entanto, a História (os mentecaptos como o senhor Passos Coelhos não gostam dela com "H" - só com "h" e de preferência com desenhos...) já demonstrou amplamente os efeitos dos fanatismos, das "proibições" e das ditaduras...

É claro também, para todos (menos para os mentecaptos como o senhor Passos), que a solução para estes problemas não se limita a somar 1+1. É muito complexa, envolve prevenção, educação, sensibilidade, conhecimento e trabalho. Muito trabalho. Que é outra coisa que horroriza os mentecaptos da "tribo" do senhor Passos.

Aquilo que vão fazer com a porcaria dos pacotes de cigarros é muito semelhante àquilo que estão a fazer com os recentes casos de Buyling - torná-los "virais", virulentos e obrigar as pessoas a verem imagens chocantes a todas as horas e a todos os momentos.
E aí, já nem disfarçam... Já não se preocupam com o que a visualização dessas imagens brutais pode fazer a uma criança à hora do jantar.

Tributo a Wilmar Villar Mendoza

Quanto a mim, mais do que me chocar faz-me pensar;
Nas razões (na razão) profunda que leva um homem, um "sonhador da liberdade", a deixar-se morrer de fome por se sentir impotente e incapaz de outra coisa fazer, numa derradeira tentativa de alertar o mundo onde o que importa é a ganância económica e financeira (mais ou menos camuflada em encontros políticos como sucedeu recentemente com a "visita" dos nossos governantes a Luanda) e onde a hipocrisia disputa com a demagogia a "batuta" da orquestração da retórica política.

Penso em Cuba, nos cubanos, resignados historicamente à chantagem daqueles que se julgam os "donos do mundo" - Os EUA.

Mas, penso também nos angolanos, nos moçambicanos, nos guineenses...e, claro, nos portugueses.

Quantas mais pessoas terão de se deixar matar pelos seus ideais para que o mundo ponha, por uma vez, de parte os interesses económicos e invista na defesa dos oprimidos numa verdadeira e incondicional Defesa dos Direitos Humanos.

Estou com Vilar Mendoza como estou com todos os pensadores livres que, respeitando a liberdade dos outros se fazem, assim, respeitar também.
